Comic Relief
Comedian Big Jay Oakerson lost his Freeport, Long Island home and his car to Hurricane Sandy but still made it into Manhattan last Thursday (Nov. 1) to give locals a free laugh. He appeared at The Stand comedy club, which opened its doors for free to cheer the downtown set affected by power outages. Oakerson reportedly performed onstage lit by a miner’s headlight and candlelight.
There are so many talented people in New York City.
This is a great video. Props to Ryan Hall.
